★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gli alberi del lungo lago e vicini a Porto Catena sono quelli che mi attraggono di più nei muei giri in bicicletta. Sopportano da anni la piena del lago ma le loro radici mi insegnano di aggrapparmi alla vita come loro si aggrappano alla terra e danno ombra e ossigeno a chi li ammira.
 The trees along the lakefront and near Porto Catena are the ones that attract me the most on my bike rides. They have endured the flood of the lake for years but their roots teach me to cling to life as they cling to the earth and give shade and oxygen to those who admire them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Porto ampio e ben attrezzato. Il parcheggio, di prossima costruzione, a circa 500 metri lo renderà ancora più agevole.
Large and well equipped port. The car park, to be built soon, about 500 meters away will make it even easier.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dove sbuca il Rio nel lago Inferiore. Un luogo che con la pista ciclopedonale è ancora più vicino al centro storico. I io anche per ua visita al Gradaro. Da poco tempo arriva da Venezia ua motonave con cabine letto per portare turisti. Da porto Catena si può raggiungere il Po' e anche Venezia tramite il sistema idroviario Fissero-Tartaro-Canal Bianco
Where the Rio flows into the Lower Lake. A place that with the cycle / pedestrian path is even closer to the historic center. I also for a visit to the Gradaro. A motor ship with sleeping cabins has recently arrived from Venice to bring tourists. From Porto Catena you can reach the Po 'and also Venice via the Fissero-Tartaro-Canal Bianco waterway system

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is no facilities here for boats which a normal port or marina would offer. No water, no electricity and no suitable pontoon for canal boat. It is very deceiving to call this place a port. Evening arrival was incredibly difficult as half of lights marking the channel were broken.
