Da visitare e soggiornarci con ritmi lenti ed eno - gastronomia da favola. Mare e montagna a portata di mano (1/2 ora di auto entrambe). Ottimo per ciclisti, escursionisti e camminatori. Vicini santuari ed abbazie. Arte ben presente. Wonderful! From here you enter a village full of surprises. Glimpses and hidden corners of true beauty. To visit and to stay there with slow rhythms and eno - fabulous gastronomy. Sea and mountains at your fingertips (1/2 hour drive both). Great for cyclists, hikers and walkers. A	Angelo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La porta rappresenta un biglietto da visita davvero d'impatto al centro storico di Penne. Osservandola si ha subito un'idea dello stile che caratterizza l'antico cuore del paese. La piazzetta antistante rappresenta sicuramente uno dei punti più belli del paese; la presenza di vari bar permette di rilassarsi e magari fare una passeggiata prendendo un percorso panoramico che si affaccia sulle campagne circostanti e che costeggia il centro storico. Una grande critica va mossa alla manutenzione dell'intero centro storico, che nonostante il grande potenziale sembra lasciato all'abbandono; salta all'occhio l'erba poco curata, calcinacci e chiese antiche (tra l'altro chiuse, compreso il duomo) lasciate in mano ai vandali e rovinate da bombolette spray e incuria. Davvero un peccato per uno di quelli che potrebbe essere uno dei centri storici più belli della zona. The door represents a truly impactful business card to the historic center of Penne. Looking at it, you immediately get an idea of the style that characterizes the ancient heart of the country. The square in front certainly represents one of the most beautiful spots in the country; the presence of various bars allows you to relax and maybe take a walk taking a panoramic path overlooking the surrounding countryside and which runs along the historic center. A great criticism goes to the maintenance of the entire historic center, which despite the great potential seems to be left to abandonment; the untreated grass, rubble and ancient churches (closed, including the cathedral) left in the hands of vandals and ruined by spray cans and neglect stand out. Really a shame for one of what could be one of the most beautiful historic centers in the area.
