Il ponte incornicia due parti della cittadina, da un lato possiamo vedere la centrale elettrica nel lato opposto invece ci imbattiamo in una natura più libera, lo scenario da sensazioni di natura romantica ed è stato utilizzato come sfondo nel film di checco zalone "che bella giornata" Perfect place for walking and sporting activities. Per il resto lango il percorso si possono trovare locali con bar per fare una sosta, e anche per pranzare. In mattoni a vista e sorretto da due pile in granito, è caratterizzato da un bel contrasto cromatico bianco-rosso. Il suo aspetto elegante viene ulteriormente valorizzato dai vicini ruderi dell'antica dogana austriaca, che soprattutto al tramonto sono in grado di offrire un colpo d'occhio di romantica poetica delle rovine.
