★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questo ponte congiunge la stazione ferroviaria di Malnate con il capoluogo di provincia di Varese pur essendo stato costruito nel primo dopoguerra è ancora un esempio di alta ingegneria ed è l'emblema raffigurato sullo stendardo comunale.

Caratteristico, compare anche sul gonfalone della Città di Malnate e, data la sua altezza è anche visibile da molto lontano (a me è capitato di riconoscere Malnate da sopra Castel San Pietro - Svizzera, proprio grazie a questo ponte) Ai suoi piedi è anche possibile vedere i punti di attacco del precedente, costruito in ferro.
It is the railway bridge that connects Malnate to Varese, passing the Olona stream. Nice place to walk along the Olona river, beautiful views x photos, unfortunately the woods are not cared for.
