★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissimo luogo, peccato che il percorso che ti consentirebbe di guardarlo dal basso è impercorribile, trascurato, sporco
Beautiful place, too bad that the path that would allow you to look at it from below is impassable, neglected, dirty

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Secondo me non essisterebbe Lanciano senza questo ponte, ne IL Ponte Dioclezano, senza Lanciano!!
In my opinion, Lanciano would not exist without this bridge, or IL Ponte Dioclezano, without Lanciano !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Původně zde stál římský most z třetího století věnovaný císaři Diokleciánovi. Most byl ovšem poničen zemětřesením v jedenáctém století a v třináctém století přestavěn. Nad mostem byly postupně budovány církevní stavby a most měnil svoji podobu. Je to celkově velká a členitá stavba. V jednom podlaží je výstavka věnovaná historii mostu a různých přestaveb. Pod mostem je v údolí volně přístupný park.
Originally there was a Roman bridge from the third century dedicated to Emperor Diocletian. However, the bridge was damaged by an earthquake in the eleventh century and rebuilt in the thirteenth century. Church buildings were gradually built over the bridge and the bridge changed its appearance. It is an overall large and rugged building. On one floor there is an exhibition dedicated to the history of the bridge and various reconstructions. Under the bridge there is a freely accessible park in the valley.
