D	Diletta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto incantevole, una meravigliosa dimora storica immersa nella natura Toscana. Sono stata ospite di un festeggiamento lo scorso mese e mi sono innamorata del posto, ripromettendomi di tornarvi autonomamente appena possibile. La cucina è stata ottima così come la cura dei dettagli della mise en place, sono rimasta poi particolarmente colpita dagli spazi interni, gli arredi sono particolarissimi, una commistione perfetta tra classico e moderno. Ho notato poi la presenza di una piscina panoramica, di cui purtroppo non ho potuto godere dato il fuoristagione. Come già detto, tornerò sicuramente!! Enchanting place, a wonderful historic residence surrounded by Tuscan nature. I was the guest of a celebration last month and I fell in love with the place, promising myself to return there on my own as soon as possible. The cuisine was excellent as well as the attention to detail of the mise en place, I was then particularly impressed by the interior spaces, the furnishings are very special, a perfect blend of classic and modern. Then I noticed the presence of a panoramic swimming pool, which unfortunately I could not enjoy given the off-season. As mentioned, I will definitely be back !!

Camere veramente bellissime e confortevoli. Consigliatissimo per chi vuole trascorrere un soggiorno rilassante e piacevole immersi nelle colline alle porte di Firenze. I spent a beautiful evening in this farmhouse, delicious food and super helpful and very kind staff. Truly beautiful and comfortable rooms. Highly recommended for those who want to spend a relaxing and pleasant stay immersed in the hills on the outskirts of Florence.

Ho scelto questa struttura per le ottime recensioni e poiché cercavo un posto al verde e tranquillo vicino Firenze. E devo dire con entusiasmo che ha superato anche le mie aspettative! Locale immerso nel verde, piscina panoramica, accesso nel bosco adiacente, idromassaggio, ed un tocco artistico al interno degli alloggi. Ho avuto la possibilità di conoscere anche Elena ed il suo staff e sono rimasto molto colpito dalla loro gentilezza e dalle attenzioni nei confronti del cliente. Presso la struttura organizzano eventi privati, infatti ho avuto modo la prima sera di poter assaggiare le specialità della casa, e devo dire che il livello della cucina è molto alto. Consiglio vivamente il locale per chi desidera passare delle giornate in relax coccolati dal gentilissimo staff! Li ringrazio ancora tutti e sicuramente ci tornerò presto! I had the pleasure of being able to spend a lovely weekend at the Poggio alla pieve. I chose this property for the excellent reviews and because I was looking for a green and quiet place near Florence. And I must enthusiastically say that it even exceeded my expectations! Local surrounded by greenery, panoramic swimming pool, access to the adjacent wood, hydromassage, and an artistic touch inside the accommodation. I also had the opportunity to meet Elena and her staff and I was very impressed by their kindness and attention to the customer. At the structure they organize private events, in fact I was able to taste the house specialties on the first evening, and I must say that the level of cuisine is very high. I highly recommend the place for those who want to spend days relaxing pampered by the very kind staff! I thank them all again and will definitely be back soon!

Sono arrivato dalla Campania, ed appena arrivato mi sono reso conto che il posto meritava il viaggio. Il mio caro amico non poteva scegliere posto migliore per rivedere i suoi colleghi di una vita. Un immersione nella "vera" toscana, una struttura ricca di storia, ogni oggetto è scelto con cura e racconta qualcosa. Per non parlare poi del cibo e del vino, tutto ottimo e nel pieno rispetto della tradizione toscana. L'accoglienza eccezionale, il clima di festa ci ha accompagnato per tutto il tempo. Non ci siamo mai annoiati in quanto i tavoli erano posizionati in modo tale da favorire la conversazione tra i vari commensali. Mi è piaciuto tutto talmente tanto da aver subito voglia di scrivere una recensione. Non lo avevo mai fatto prima, ma è un modo per ringraziare il mio amico e tutto lo staff del Poggio alla pieve, per avermi fatto trascorre una giornata di festa così bella. I was in this fantastic place for my primary colleague's retirement party in a Tuscan hospital. I arrived from Campania, and as soon as I arrived I realized that the place was worth the trip. My dear friend could not have chosen a better place to see his lifelong colleagues again. An immersion in the "real" Tuscany, a structure rich in history, each object is chosen with care and tells something. Not to mention the food and wine, all excellent and in full respect of the Tuscan tradition. The exceptional welcome, the festive atmosphere accompanied us all the time. We never got bored as the tables were positioned in such a way as to encourage conversation between the various diners. I liked everything so much that I immediately wanted to write a review. I had never done it before, but it is a way to thank my friend and all the staff of Poggio alla Pieve, for making me spend such a beautiful day of celebration.

Innanzitutto il panorama bellissimo, ti senti davvero immerso nelle colline di Sommaia... La piscina fra gli ulivi veramente graziosa, ci sarebbe piaciuto poterne usufruire di più! L’appartamento era molto pulito e abbiamo trovato tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno. Ma quello che ci ha colpito è stata l’atmosfera magica che si respira in questo luogo e soprattutto la passione e gentilezza della proprietaria Elena e di tutto il suo staff, che si è sempre reso disponibile per ogni nostra esigenza sempre col sorriso. Consigliatissimo, ci torneremo! I stayed with my girlfriend for a week in September in this structure, and what to say ... A fantastic surprise! First of all the beautiful landscape, you really feel immersed in the hills of Sommaia ... The swimming pool among the olive trees is really pretty, we would have liked to have been able to use it more! The apartment was very clean and we found everything we needed. But what struck us was the magical atmosphere that reigns in this place and above all the passion and kindness of the owner Elena and all her staff, who always made themselves available for our every need, always with a smile. Highly recommended, we will be back!

The apartment was fully equipped and we had everything we needed to feel right at home. The swimming pool provided wonderful relief for the very hot summer days. This was one of many suites all seemingly built in old farmhouse structures, so while you’re relatively close to others, it still offers worlds more comfort, space and privacy than hotels or other agriturismo offerings. We could not recommend it highly enough, and greatly look forward to our next visit.
