Discesa all'inizio tecnica e dopo più scorrevole. Una mattinata stupenda! So much effort to get there by bike through the woods, but the spectacle that can be enjoyed from up there is worth the effort. Descent at the beginning of the technique and then more fluently. Ci si arriva dopo una passeggiata di circa una mezz’ora (partendo dalla sottostante via dei Bosconi) abbastanza facile e non impegnativa, a patto di avere un paio di scarpe da trekking. È un posto ideale per fare una gita fuori porta senza allontanarsi troppo da Fiesole o da Firenze, e magari anche un bel picnic. Infine per chi volesse continuare la passeggiata dalla cima si snodano altri sentieri, che portano per esempio all’Olmo o a Settignano. Super consigliato a chi ama fare due passi nella natura! Poggio Pratone overlooks on one side the Valle del Mugnone, on the other towards the Sieci and Compiobbi. You can get there after a walk of about half an hour (starting from the via dei Bosconi below) quite easy and not demanding, provided you have a pair of trekking shoes. It is an ideal place to take a trip out of town without going too far from Fiesole or Florence, and maybe even a nice picnic. Finally, for those wishing to continue the walk from the top, other paths wind, leading for example to Olmo or Settignano. Super recommended for those who love to take a walk in nature!

Tracciato divertente anche in Mountain bike, fattibile però solo da Fiesole verso vetta le croci. Beautiful path to get there, part of the path of the way of the gods. You can enjoy a splendid view over the two valleys below Fiesole. Fun track also by mountain bike, but feasible only from Fiesole towards the top of the crosses.

Sentiero semplice da percorrere, anche con i bambini, e giunti alla vetta un bel panorama e un prato dove poter fare un bel picnic in compagnia e giocare! Always exciting. Both with good weather and with clouds and fog that tomorrow has that muffled charm. Easy path to follow, even with children, and when you reach the top a beautiful view and a lawn where you can have a nice picnic with friends and play!
