★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love the Planeta wines and we come every year to try (and buy) their wines. The location of the winery is idyllic, without GPS maybe a bit more difficult to find. I can recommend the tasting with lunch, which is a nice way of spending the late morning and lunchtime.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very special winery that’s well worth a visit if you’re in the area. Out of town, nestled amongst their vines, a small shop stocks their best wines and olive oils with the chance for a tasting if you book in advance.
We came to look and ended up leaving with a dozen bottles of wine. The staff were super friendly and even gifted us a free bottle of wine to sit and enjoy while we chose what to buy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are visiting Sicily & love wines you must visit Planeta Winery! Yesterday we had an amazing tasting experience with Genevra. Her hospitality & wonderful knowledge of all things Planeta made our visit that much more enjoyable. Our tasting was followed by a delicious lunch. Planeta has & always will be my favorite place to visit when I’m in Sicily.
