★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a quaint local pizza place, run by a wonderfully friendly older couple. The pizza is excellent, fresh, often hot and made on a light focaccia style base with a small selection of different topped slices to choose from (and only €1 a slice at the time of this review). It’s open early and located in a small space on the ground floor of an ancient building just off the cobbled street that runs through the historic centre of Penne. It’s a little gem and truly authentically Abruzzan.
