★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Antica pizzeria del Centro. Contesto architettonico medievale. Ottime pizze. Buone e digeribili , cosa non scontata. Farinata di Ceci alla Genovese davvero eccellente. Posto per famiglie, coppie, piccole comitive. Forno a legna. Estrema gentilezza e pulizia.
Ancient pizzeria in the center. Medieval architectural context. Great pizzas. Good and digestible, which is not to be taken for granted. Truly excellent Chickpea Farinata alla Genovese. Place for families, couples, small groups. Wood oven. Extreme kindness and cleanliness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quando vado a Ferrara mi fermo spesso a cenare in questo posto. Molto alla buona ma sicuramente il luogo giusto per mangiare la farinata di ceci più buona di Ferrara. Poi ci aggiungo anche una pizza, non sono molto grandi ma buona anche quella. Lo consiglio vivamente!
When I go to Ferrara I often stop to dine in this place. Very casual but certainly the right place to eat the best chickpea porridge in Ferrara. Then I also add a pizza, they are not very big but that too is good. I highly recommend it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un'istituzione a Ferrara. Servono pizzette piccole o medie, non grandi, diverse dal solito, fatte da loro. I ceci (o farinata di ceci se vogliamo chiamarla così), sono spaziali! Buoni buoni buoni. Da prenderne 4 o 5 fette a testa. Servizio rapido, richiedono di liberare i tavoli velocemente. Spesa medio bassa. Locale stretto, tavoli da 4 persone oppure si mangia sulle mensole.
An institution in Ferrara. They serve small or medium pizzas, not large, different from the usual, made by them. Chickpeas (or chickpea porridge if we want to call it that), are spatial! Good good good. To take 4 or 5 slices each. Quick service, they require you to clear the tables quickly. Medium-low spending. A narrow place, tables for 4 or you can eat on the shelves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We call Giuseppe "special pizza" it's very good, simple, tiny pizzas prepared in a pan. There is virtually no crust. Also very cheap! One pizza grande and a few peices of ceci fill me up! Our three year old loves it and she's very picky.

At first all local people was serviced before us, later on they forget about one of our ordered pizza, and when I asked if it's finally ready, it's turned out that unfortunately no... when they prepared the last pizza it wasn't large as we ordered. I understand that everyone can make mistake but we didn't even heard: i'm sorry...

Beware, it's very crouded around 9 o'clock.
But it's open untill 1 AM, so you have enough time to try it.
