Pizzeria Frantoio del vicolo DiVino

Reading the reviews, we decide to go to 'Il Frantoio del Vicolo' and I must say that the choice confirmed the expectations! The first thing that strikes you as soon as you arrive is the very characteristic alley, located in the historic center of Anagni, the tables outside in the alley and also inside among the ancient millstones of the mill, well cared for and preserved. Let's move on to food. I don't think there are first courses on the menu. As an appetizer: a mixed platter of cured meats, ham, mozzarella, aubergines, two bruschetta, one with tomato and one with garlic and oil, and a truly delicious ricottina, then a supplì served on a bowl with a rocket base as a presentation (see photo) , a tagliata with rocket and parmesan from the menu with the addition of cherry tomatoes on request, the tagliata was good, tender and the rocket parmesan and cherry tomatoes just as delicious (see photo) a side dish of beans seasoned with really good onions! A hamburger ? with speck and a very tasty cheese slice, a simple hamburger two fries .. in reality they brought us three because the first was not ours ... And they left it anyway ... Then they brought the others two telling us that the first was offered by them. The fries were good cooked well and the oil used ... for frying was "fresh". A margherita pizza, which we found a little tasty, we mentioned it and very kindly they apologized and did not take it into account. To drink a coca-cola for the boys, a mineral water and half a liter of wine I don't remember the name (Cesenatico?), However it is a wine that they had proposed to me elsewhere ... That I didn't like ... I asked for guarantees ... They made me taste it before ... Half a glass and I must say it was something else ... Good ... It didn't burn like the one drunk in another place ... Recommended !!! To conclude a coffee .... And a warm hot surprise of the biscuits that were very good ... Offered by the house (see photo). What about the service ... It was immediately understood that courtesy is at home !!!!! They are very kind, I would say a familiar atmosphere ... And if something is wrong (I know a delay or something else) they find a way to be forgiven ... And pamper their customer !!! The price??? Well I enclose the receipt, to make your evaluations. A restaurant housed in an ancient medieval oil mill. A very suggestive place to dine al fresco, sheltered by the walls of medieval buildings and cheered up by flowers and restful greenery. A top-notch gluten-free pizza and excellent parchment pizza just by looking at it. Highly recommended for the many tourists who visit the city of the Popes

Really nice little place. Polite, helpful staff and even advised us not to take a course because we would not have finished it, this to give us the opportunity to taste other dishes. Really top! Then in the women's bathroom there is a basket with some really useful things for us women ?. I have never seen such a thing anywhere. The really good and light pincers and the tiramisu with the excellent plum cake but the light and tasty chocolate millefeuille at the same time. Clean and friendly place. We will definitely be back.
