★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finding an open restaurant on a Monday night wasn't as easy as one would have thought. We eventually stopped at Da Bruno pizzeria, and I wish we had not.
We ordered a bruschetta with tomato, which was nice, and a mixed salad, which had far too many wilted leaves. It was in fact the worst salad I have ever had, anywhere.
We also had two pasta dishes, Tortellini alla Boscaiola, which were nice, and Mezze Maniche alla Carbonara, which were nothing special.
We also ordered a Pizza Amatriciana, which was a big disappointment, too dry and with a tomato sauce too sharp in flavour.
Service was also very slow, despite not being busy.
Overall, we would certainly not go back to Da Bruno, and wouldn't recommend it. A real shame.
