Abbiamo pranzato molto bene, a base di pesce, con piatti di qualità. Buono il vino locale, e buoni i dessert. Bravi Justin e il suo staff e brave Alice e la zia in sala, discrete, veloci e attente ai clienti. Ritorneremo per il piatto di “pata negra”, aspettateci. . . A beautiful restaurant in an ancient building, in Montalto di Castro (Viterbo), beautiful and well cared for, preserving its original appearance. We dined very well, with fish, with quality dishes. Good local wine, and good desserts. Good Justin and his staff and good Alice and aunt in the room, discreet, fast and attentive to customers. We will return for the "pata negra" dish, wait for us. . .

Menù degustazione di pesce molto buono.....7 portate di pesce+dolce a 38€; unica pecca, a mio parere, il fatto che, oltre agli antipasti, anche il secondo è da dividere.....per il resto nulla da dire. Anche il vino, compreso nel menù, non era male. Nice place in the historic center of Montalto. Very good fish tasting menu ..... 7 courses of fish + dessert for 38 €; only flaw, in my opinion, the fact that, in addition to appetizers, the latter is also to be divided ..... for the rest nothing to say. Even the wine, included in the menu, was not bad.

Unica particolarità che forse potrebbe esser rivisto è l'arredamento molto "confettoso" che non si accosta alla raffinatezza delle pietanze. Ottimo tiramisù ben composto e piacevole forse solo un pizzico di biscotto in più non guasterebbe ma comunque molto soddisfacente. Vivamente consigliato. Very positive dining experience that was reflected in all diners. The welcome and familiarity of those who work there is particularly welcome. The only peculiarity that perhaps could be revised is the very "confectionary" furniture that does not come close to the refinement of the dishes. Excellent tiramisu well composed and pleasant perhaps just a pinch of biscuit more would not hurt but still very satisfying. Highly recommended.

Capitata a Montalto di Castro, assieme alla mia famiglia , in un sabato ventoso e dopo aver visitato Piani degli Alpaca , convengo di mangiare da Pira . Il ristorantino si presenta pulitissimo ed accogliente. Si capisce subito che abbiamo fame e ci portano velocemente gli antipasti da noi richiesti. Dalla selezione:Bruschetta con baccalà mantecato, zuppetta di lenticchie e gambero grigliato , tentacolo di polpo verace e Galletta di patate , polenta infornata con mousse di Baccalà e Cipolla Rossa Acidula . Pazzeschi , bissiamo!!! A seguire Paccheri Artigianali Totanini e Olive Leccino , Coscia di Faraona Confit e Stufato di Lenticchie ,Stinco di Agnello con Patate infornate.Ma che buoni !!!! , Tutto è cucinato alla perfezione dalle mani esperte dello Chef Justin , non vi inganni il nome , è orgogliosamente nostrano!!! La bellissima moglie, in sala , ci coccola , ed è così che scopriamo che l’eccezionale olio evo è di loro produzione e che anche i dolci sono fatti in casa… Senza esitare ci tuffiamo in un delizioso tiramisù ed in una spettacolare creme brûlé pere e caramello. Che dire ragazzi i miei migliori auguri , anche se non ne avete bisogno, la strada per voi è lunga e in discesa!!! Consigliatissimo. Chapeau !!!! Arrived in Montalto di Castro, together with my family, on a windy Saturday and after visiting Piani degli Alpaca, I agree to eat at Pira's. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming. We immediately understand that we are hungry and they quickly bring us the appetizers we requested. From the selection: Bruschetta with creamed cod, lentil soup and grilled shrimp, real octopus tentacle and potato galletta, baked polenta with cod mousse and sour red onion. Crazy, let's repeat !!! Followed by Artisan Paccheri Squid and Leccino Olives, Confit Guinea Fowl Leg and Lentil Stew, Lamb Shank with Baked Potatoes. , Everything is cooked to perfection by the expert hands of Chef Justin, do not mislead the name, it is proudly homegrown !!! The beautiful wife, in the dining room, pampers us, and this is how we discover that the exceptional extra virgin olive oil is of their production and that even the desserts are homemade ... Without hesitation we dive into a delicious tiramisu and a spectacular pear and caramel creme brûlé. What can I say guys my best wishes, even if you don't need it, the road is long and downhill for you !!! Highly recommended.
