★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La pineta, al confine fra i comuni di Spotorno e Noli, anni fa era un verde e fresco parco lungo la provinciale che sale verso Voze e prosegue per le Manie.
Ora dopo le licenze date per costruire case, molti pini sono stati abbattuti e quelli rimasti sono circondati da cemento e rifiuti.
Sofferente per l'antropizzazione e la siccità, la pineta si riduce ogni anno.
The pine forest, on the border between the towns of Spotorno and Noli, years ago was a green and fresh park along the provincial road that goes up towards Voze and continues to the Manie.
Now after the licenses given to build houses, many pines have been felled and the remaining ones are surrounded by cement and rubbish.
Suffering from anthropization and drought, the pine forest is reduced every year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Forse non molti conoscono il percorso che si può fare immersi nel verde della pineta di Spotorno ai piedi del Monte Mao. Un percorso incredibilmente bello con una vista spaziale e mozzafiato sul mare e su tutto il golfo. Sembra davvero una visuale aerea. Il percorso è semplice anche se il primo tratto di Strada Antica Romana è davvero molto ripido. Tuttavia dopo circa 300 metri di fatica si entra in un paesaggio incantato dove non arrivano i rumori della civiltà ma solo vento e in lontananza il fragore delle onde. Volendo si può arrivare sulla cima del monte oppure costeggiarlo e arrivare fino a Bergeggi. Un itinerario da non perdere !!
Perhaps not many know the path that can be made immersed in the green of the pinewood of Spotorno at the foot of Mount Mao. An incredibly beautiful route with a breathtaking view of the sea and the entire gulf. It really looks like an aerial view. The route is simple even if the first section of Strada Antica Romana is very steep indeed. However, after about 300 meters of effort you enter an enchanted landscape where the sounds of civilization do not arrive but only wind and in the distance the roar of the waves. If you want you can get to the top of the mountain or skirt it and get to Bergeggi. An itinerary not to be missed !!
