★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een bezoek aan de stad is niet compleet zonder een bezoek aan dit museum. Een groot aanbod aan beeld- & schilderkunst verdeeld over 2 zeer uitgebreide verdiepingen. Enig minpunt is de (te) grote hoeveelheid sacrale kunst.
 A visit to the city is not complete without a visit to this museum. A wide range of sculptures & paintings spread over 2 very extensive floors. The only downside is the (too) large amount of sacred art.

posto tra Piazza della Signoria ed il fiume Arno.
Sotto i suoi portici oltre alle code dei turisti per entrare presso la Galleria degli Uffizi si trovano le porte per entrare nel complesso, mentre nello spazio aperto si può passeggiare su un pavimento lastricato e vedere nei propri lati le statue in marmo di illustri personaggi toscani come Macchavelli, Galileo de Galilei, Lorenzo il Magnifico, Giotto, Leonardo da Vinci, Donatello, Michelangelo,Dante, Petrarca,Boccaccio e molti altri.
Ideato e costruito da Giorgio Vasari, ora è uno dei luoghi dove passano più turisti.

located between Piazza della Signoria and the Arno river.

A very interesting journey through history. The statues are magnificent and represented with many details on the profession of the characters... it is easy to dwell on them!
