Da qualche anno è anche sede della Targa Florio per le auto storiche e per la magnifiche fuoriserie Ferrari ed è molto pittoresco il contrasto fra la severa architettura del teatro e l'aggressività delle top cars di Maranello
 One of the most beautiful squares in Palermo. Here you can admire the Teatro Massimo, one of the temples of opera music in Italy and in the world. For some years it has also been home to the Targa Florio for historic cars and the magnificent Ferrari custom-built cars and the contrast between the severe architecture of the theater and the aggressiveness of the Maranello top cars is very picturesque.
