Nelle vicinanze sono presenti due luoghi di ritrovo per giovani (bar/pub) e un supermercato di prodotti per casa/bagno (CAD). Su un lato è situata una gastronomia. Trattasi anche del ritrovo cittadino insieme alla fontana del giardino accanto dei cortei per eventi sportivi. Localmente la piazza è conosciuta come piazza Dante
