 One of the famous squares in Naples is in the Chiaia area, the "good" district of the city, with shops, offices and various activities.

The platforms look like they haven't been cleaned for awhile.
There was a puddle of urine at the beginning of the overpass to the opposite platform.
The validation machines don't work.
No staff anywhere visible.
If you can walk, just avoid it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please note the metro is accessed from the south at Piazza Amedeo, and not from the north as Google suggests. Doing the route google suggests is not possible and means you have to go round in a big circle.
