A l’entrada hi ha també un cementiri molt ben cuidat. Hi destaca la placa dedicada als soldats morts a les guerres mundials. Schlanders Church and Cemetery - Silandro in Italian-. Beautiful frescoes painted on the inside of the church which is being restored on the inside. There is also a well-kept cemetery at the entrance. Highlights include the plaque dedicated to soldiers killed in world wars.

Kein Wunder - der Kirchturm der "Pfarrkirche Maria Himmelfahrt" beträgt stolze 90,60 Meter an Höhe ?, erstaunlich!! Ich glaube, dies ist der höchste Kirchturm in ganz Südtirol /Tirol Wer sich in Schlanders aufhält, ein Besuch der Kirche ist sehr empfehlenswert?, da schon alleine der schlanke gotische Kirchturm - mit seinen fast 91 Metern - äußerst interessant ist! Auch das Innenleben der Kirche lässt sich sehen! ? Der Hochaltar, die Marienstatue, der gotische Taufstein vom Jahr 1529, die 2 Seitenaltäre - die den hl. Josef und Sebastian gewidmet wurden , die tollen großflächigen Fresken mit all den kleineren Malereien,.... sehr schön! Weißer Marmor, der aus der Region verwendet wird, findet sich "in der Kirche" und am Friedhof, der sehr sehr sauber gepflegt wird! Sehr schöne interessante Pfarrkirche mit angrenzender Michaelskirche?
