S	Sara Gallipoli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiunque si sia trovato, anche solo per sbaglio, alla stazione di porta nuova non può non ammettere che dopo i recenti lavori di ristrutturazione le cose sono decisamente migliorate. E' infatti passata da stazione a 2 stelle a stazione a 3 stelle. Hanno ampliato il numero di binari, montato ascensori non funzionanti ed allargato le gradinate perennemente deserte. Ma hanno messo i parcheggi a pagamento, proprio ciò di cui aveva bisogno una stazione fatiscente in una zona malfamata. Anyone who has found himself, even by mistake, at the new door station cannot fail to admit that things have definitely improved after the recent renovations. It has in fact passed from a 2-star station to a 3-star station. They have increased the number of tracks, mounted non-functioning elevators and widened the permanently deserted stands. Non si trova collocata sull'asse viario principale (che è viale D'Annunzio), per cui si vede rianimata la sera quando il centro commerciale in loco Carrefour (aperto 24h) si riempie di tantissimi avventori. Historical station of Pescara. Now it only serves local and regional trains, however it has seen a revival thanks to the modernization of the surrounding spaces. It is not located on the main road (which is viale D'Annunzio), so you can see it revived in the evening when the on-site shopping center Carrefour (open 24h) is filled with many patrons.

Il decoro va principalmente, nel rispetto delle persone che lavorano e viaggiano. Tuttavia la stazione, nonostante sia abbastanza frequentata, non dispone di un'area con posti a sedere al coperto né riscaldata. Le uniche panchine che sono sono all'esterno. Vi lascio immaginare cosa significhi aspettare le lunghe coincidenze al freddo senza neanche potersi sedere. Assente anche un bagno. Before a station was left to itself, now with modernization work was made definitely more comfortable. Maybe a bit underused, hopefully it will reveal its potential in the next years. Very useful for those who want to reach / leave from the Southern part of the city, it is provided with a huge indoor parking, a little mall and even a Pescara-Rome bus stop.
