★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seems a bit trite to give a star rating to a piece of history but like most of Perugia, the cathedral is beautiful. When we visited last in August it providing a refreshing break from the baking sun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful from the inside, a must see if you are around. Mind the opening hours for public:
8:00-12:30 and 16:00-18:45 all the time and there is some additional time depending on the season.
You are not allowed to take pictures inside and have to wear proper clothes. Maybe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impressive in parts but not overwhelming. There are a handful of interesting artworks but the overall feeling in the interior is far less impressive than the Duomo’s piazza facade.
