A very nice place very close to the verdi opera with italiano flair a la Trieste.
I' ve Bern there twice now (2015 Jan.
And 2016 March) and I love it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm not sure if its common place in italy to have a restaurant menu so closely monitored by the time, either way we asked for sandwiches. Which even though they were on display, we were told they weren't served for another few hours?! The server told us they have a similar thing called toast (ham and cheese toastie for us brits) however thats not very similar to 1 caprese and 1 chicken club sandwich... Despite that the service was fast and the waiter was nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great coffee and wine bar in the center of town. With big terrace. Big selection of tasty food to have with your beer or wine. Also the coffee is excellent. And if you have a pet, they are pet friendly. When I am in Trieste I always visit them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cappucino is always somehow not hot enough. Chips comes with the orders free of charge - nice touch. Personel friendly. Prices a little bit higher than expected for beer, wine etc.
