And EVERYTHING is excellent from the bread to the meal, to the desert and the well-curated wine list. It’s a family place with warm and caring service by the Pellegrini family for guests and their families. MUST GO WHEN YOU ARE IN MONTECATINI TERME OR NEARBY. We can’t wait to come back.

M	Matthias Lux on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must go restaurant in Montecatini! The food is top notch! On point! The waiters enjoy their work and like to chat with frequent customers, many italien guests. Nearly every table orders the tuna filet. I recommend the pasta with pepper and eggplant slices (see photo). We went two days in a row because it was so delicious. The waiters recognized us and thanked us for coming again.

Expect a long wait for the food and skip the pasta w/ clams option. Small but very select wine glasses by the glass for a great price, and good house wine.

Very nice people and a look at the local scene. We went back several times while in Montecatini. There is an able cook in the kitchen and the menus include daily specials. Especially liked the mugellai, filled pasta with ragu , and their tender well seasoned rabbit. Do well with fish, soups and make a mean cacio e Pepe. A great choice in a tourist-impacted town.

Our host, Francesco was just wonderful! The food truly exceeded our expectations. It was delicious, fresh and full of explosive flavour. They also serve many traditional Tuscan dishes. And... The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service we received. Everything a visitor to Tuscany would expect, unlike many tourist traps in the area. My advice while in Pisa or Montecatini is to avoid places on the main streets. We were so happy to have found Pellegrini's, and it was a highlight of our trip to Tuscany. Thank you everyone at Pellegrini's for a wonderful evening!
