★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un pezzo di storia militare; era un nodo ferroviario di grande importanza dove stazionavano i treni armati della Marina Militare durante la prima guerra mondiale. Questi treni erano destinati a contrastare eventuali incursioni lungo le coste adriatiche della flotta Austro-Ungarica. Durante la seconda guerra mondiale, con la risalita degli alleati per la conquista dell’Italia, la stazione fu soggetta a vari bombardamenti e mitragliamenti puntualmente annunciati da Radio Londra con il consueto sbaglio di accento: “ Aerei alleati hanno bombardato Pédaso”!
A piece of military history; It was a railway junction of great importance where stationed armed trains Navy during World War II. These trains were destined to counter any incursions along the Adriatic coast of the Austro-Hungarian fleet. During the Second World War, with the rise of the Allies for the conquest of Italy, the station was subjected to various bombings and machine guns punctually announced by Radio London with the usual mistake of accent: "Allied planes bombed Pédaso"!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avrebbe bisogno di manutenzioni più frequenti. Si intravvedono tettoie sporche dalle travi tutte arrugginite. L'aspetto trasandato non regala alla bellissima località di mare una buona prima impressione.
It would need more frequent maintenance. You can see dirty canopies with all rusty beams. The scruffy appearance does not give the beautiful seaside resort a good first impression.
