The Path of the Gods is, in my opinion, the thing to do on the Amalfi Coast. Put on a good pair of shoes, pack sunscreen and plenty of water. Take a bus to Bomerano - and start the trail! The walk takes about 2.5hrs if you're used to walking. Walk is on the lower side of moderate in difficulty, so not recommended for very young children or the particularly unfit.

Wonderful views, clearly labelled path. The terrain is rough so you really should bring decent shoes. You encounter a lot of friendly people, but it can get very crowded. Consider starting early or late. There is one stop halfway (drinks and toilet) if you take the southern (bottom) path. A one-way trip (5 km, from start to stop sign) takes 1,5-2 hours for most people. You can extend the route in both directions but we found the official route the most interesting part. We started at the bus stop next to the juice shop (Sapori d'Italia).

Nice hike! Would recommend, though if its 30 degrees you might want to go real early or late in the day to have ample shade. Midday there are few places to find shade. At the end of the hike towards Nocelle a lot of tissues litter the trail. The fences have fallen in disrepair. The trail could do with a cleanup and some maintenance on the fences. You can take a minibus that goes quite regular from Positano to Nocelle and back.

Great hike with lovely views! We took the bus from Positano to Nocelle and then started on the path from there. It took about 2 hours with few breaks. Most people were hiking the other way. At the end there is a square with a few cafes and restaurants so we had an ice cream while we waited for the bus to Amalfi. Overall a beginner-intermediate hike.

Awesome hike. Great views over the Amalfi coast. Have a little coffee at the starting point and finish in Positano. It's not too strenuous and will take around 2.5 hrs. Also at the end there's a frozen iced lemon drink stand!

This was a unique hiking experience. It took me 3 hours in total to finish the whole path with good breaks. You find a little cafe at the midway if you'd like to enjoy a cold drink. The bus to here costs around 2 euro. The path is medium hard but it's a lot of descend and mounting between 100meters so it's easier than it looks. Some spots extremely dangerous but mostly safe. I'd recommend authorities to verify sharp cliffs to put fences. Entrance free. Away from the crowd, the view is just astonishing. Make sure to read the historical story of the path of gods before you visit.

Must visit "bucket list" type walking trail that covers about 2-4 hours of mostly mountain trails. Fairly easy to follow and graded as "simple". If you are good and up-down steps around Amalfi coast this is simple. It took us almost 5h to finish as we stopped every so often to take pictures.
