★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommended by our local host, this is a great breakfast stop for a wide variety of pastries. Nice ambience and lots of seating, including a cool glass floor. Especially enjoyed the apple pastry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice coffee ☕ shop with a friendly and relaxing atmosphere as well as nice pastries and sandwiches. It has a bit of an old coffee house touch which I liked very much. The same owner opened a second café in Via Masaccio/degli Artisti but I would say that the one on the other side of the Arno has more style and its more cozy.

I have been living in Firenze for about a year & have tried, literally, 40+ cafes, None have warranted a repeat visit except Bottega Pasticceria; I now visit 2-3 times per week. The staff are very friendly & efficient, there's a large selection of tasty pastries & best of all-- I feel totally comfortable in this beautiful space to sit with my coffee for long periods of time & read a book. No having to stand at a bar or pay exorbitant pricing just to have a seat & relax.
