★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono stata presso questa pasticceria a fine ottobre 2020 per acquistare della "frutta martorana", cioè i frutti di marzapane che tradizionalmente si degustano in Sicilia per la commemorazione dei defunti. Essendo siciliana ogni anno rinnovo questa tradizione per le mie figlie, purtroppo la frutta martorana non è stata assolutamente all'altezza di quella reperibile nelle pasticcerie in Sicilia. La mandorla si sentiva poco mentre l'eccessiva dolcezza denotava una presenza esagerata di zucchero (al pari di dolci simili che si trovano preconfezionati nella grande distribuzione). Credo che una pasticceria che sottolinea l'origine siciliana debba prestare maggiore attenzione alla qualità ed al bilanciamento degli ingredienti affinchè chi compra questi dolci possa assaporare dei prodotti fedeli alla tradizione pasticcera siciliana.
 I was at this pastry shop at the end of October 2020 to buy "martorana fruit", that is the marzipan fruits that are traditionally tasted in Sicily for the commemoration of the dead. Being Sicilian every year I renew this tradition for my daughters, unfortunately the Martorana fruit was absolutely not up to the one available in pastry shops in Sicily. The almond was barely felt while the excessive sweetness denoted an exaggerated presence of sugar (like similar sweets that are pre-packaged in large retailers). I believe that a pastry shop that emphasizes the Sicilian origin must pay more attention to the quality and balance of the ingredients so that those who buy these sweets can enjoy products faithful to the Sicilian pastry tradition.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I mignon sono spettacolari. Non finiresti mai di mangiarli..Da provare tutto perché le pastarelle sono una più buona dell'altra! Il negozietto è un pochino nascosto ma vale la ricerca! Prezzi persino bassi per la qualità del prodotto che offre. La proprietaria è gentilissima. Cinque stelle meritate!
The mignons are spectacular. You would never stop eating them .. Try everything because the pastarelle are better than the other! The shop is a little hidden but worth the search! Even low prices for the quality of the product it offers. The owner is very kind. Five stars you deserve!
