Capitati di pomeriggio per prendere un dolcetto da portare per mia mamma e niente la crema non sapeva di nulla , farinosa e “datata” visto la consistenza e la patina più gialla rispetto all’interno delle aragostine(vedi foto allegate ) anche i bigne’ stessa cosa , crema vecchia e zucchero a velo che si vedeva fosse stato spolverato più volte perché era stratificato sia sui bignè che sulle aragostine. Quando le paste sono fresche lo zucchero a velo si spolvera al momento del confezionamento e non prima di essere vendute. Che delusione , se penso a quando FORTUNATO era pasticceria di riferimento del Tuscolano. Mi dispiace molto ma che delusione!
 Total disappointment. Arrived in the afternoon to get a sweet to bring for my mom and nothing the cream tasted of nothing, floury and "dated" given the consistency and the more yellow patina than inside the lobster (see attached photo) also the beignets itself thing, old cream and icing sugar that you could see had been sprinkled several times because it was layered on both the cream puffs and the lobsters. When the pastas are fresh, the icing sugar is dusted at the time of packaging and not before being sold. What a disappointment, if I think about when FORTUNATO was the Tuscolano pastry shop. I'm very sorry but what a disappointment!

I was looking for neapolitan sweets in Rome and found this pasticceria through internet.
It is placed in a non touristic zone, but it is easy to find.
We've bought some Easter specialities and "babá al rum". I have to say it was The Best baba! Great! Well, everything was tasty.

Prices are way more reasonable than those located in the main city area too. Thanks to Angelo (again!!) for recommending this place to us❤️
