Unfortunately beverage and food is absolutely overpriced for the quality.
We had an americano, a cappuccino and two brioches (almost industrial quality) for 20€. Also, a small glass of water is not even included with coffe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best coffee shops in town and most famous. I like that they keep their high standards even when they are busy. their dessert are tasty and professionally made. However prices are not low. I understand that you pay not only for what you eat but also for service you get as well.
I enjoyed my coffee there with my dessert. I had a hard time to choose which dessert I choose ...they are all tasty ....

This is a venerable Milanese institution: their cakes and sweet pastries are coveted all across town.
It is a pity that (as other reviewers have noted here) the staff is definitely not up to the standard (and the high prices) the place commands.
The cashier lady greets you with a grin (you need to pay upfront when you eat/drink something at the counter table) rather than with a smile and a 'welcome'.
The feeling - she was checking her smartphone when I approached her - is that the interruption (a paying customer!) is seriously bothering.
The bartender, once you place the order, does not acknowledge it with a 'thank you' or 'at once'. No word is spoken.
Once the order is delivered (its quality impeccable, I must stress) and I say "thank you", the absolute silence my words are met with speaks volumes.
I left the place wondering whether the gentleman who served me was dumb or, most probably, wasn't educated to serve customers the way they should be.
In short: excellent products, abysmal service.
