★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pasticceria storica molisana. Se devo consigliare una pasticceria o una gelateria consiglio sempre loro come prima scelta. Le paste sono eccellenti e il gelato è molto buono, peccato che i gusti forse sono pochi. Comunque l’entusiasmo per questa pasticceria mi viene per le materie prime che usano. Si sente che sono di prima scelta ed è tutto sempre molto fresco. Non ho mai trovato una pasta, un cornetto o un qualsiasi prodotto secco o insipido. Il personale l’ho trovato sempre molto gentile e cordiale. Secondo me la qualità è alta e i prezzi per la qualità offerta sono bassi! ( chi pensa il contrario dovrebbe farsi un giro in altre zone d’Italia dove per una qualità molto più scarsa si pagano prezzi molto più alti )
Le note dolenti sono altre.
Purtroppo lo spazio per sedersi o in generale per accogliere i clienti è poco. Vista la grande affluenza, soprattutto in inverno, risulta difficile trovare posto per sedersi e spesso c’è troppa confusione. Ma purtroppo il posto quello è, e non si può fare molto.
Poi le paste sebbene siano tantissime durante la mattina dei giorni lavorativi, scarseggiano tanto il pomeriggio nei week end, specialmente la domenica pomeriggio. Forse finiscono troppo in fretta, non so.
Sono d’accordo con chi dice che il milk pan abbia perso valore nel tempo. Troppo forte la nota di alcool e appunto si sente più alcool che liquore. A me comunque il milk pan non ha mai entusiasmato più di tanto e di certo non ci vado solo per quello.
Nonostante qualche piccolo difetto resta il mio punto di riferimento a Campobasso.
Historic Molise pastry shop. If I have to recommend a pastry shop or an ice cream parlor, I always recommend them as a first choice. The pastas are excellent and the ice cream is very good, it is a pity that the tastes are perhaps few. However, the enthusiasm for this pastry comes to me for the raw materials they use. You feel that they are first choice and everything is always very fresh. I have never found a pasta, a croissant or any dry or bland product. I have always found the staff to be very polite and friendly. In my opinion the quality is high and the prices for the quality offered are low! (those who think the opposite should take a trip to other areas of Italy where much higher prices are paid for a much poorer quality)
The painful notes are others.
Unfortunately, the space to sit or in general to welcome customers is limited. Given the large turnout, especially in winter, it is difficult to find a place to sit and there is often too much confusion. But unfortunately that is the place, and not much can be done.
Then the pastas, although there are many during the morning of working days, are very scarce in the afternoon on weekends, especially on Sunday afternoons. Maybe they end too quickly, I don't know.
I agree with those who say that milk pan has lost value over time. The note of alcohol is too strong and you feel more alcohol than liquor. To me, however, the milk pan has never been very enthusiastic and I certainly don't go there just for that.
Despite some small flaws, it remains my point of reference in Campobasso.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Per gli altri dolci ok ma la pastiera pessima. Sembrava una frittata con grano non cotto bene, zucchero, fiori di arancio e uova e senza scorretta di arancia e cedro. Si salvava la pasta frolla.
For the other desserts ok but the pastiera bad. It looked like an omelette with uncooked wheat, sugar, orange blossom and eggs, and without incorrect orange and cedar. The shortcrust pastry was saved.
