Obligatory stop for those passing through Sambuca di Sicilia. Their "Minne di Vergine", a traditional local dessert, are very good. I highly recommend to all passersby to stop and try them, it's really worth it.

Certo anche altri dolci sono buoni ma queste Minni è un tipico dolce Sambuchese che questa pasticceria produce in modo eccellente! Il dolce è stato inventato da delle suore nel 1725 e ha la forma di un seno di donna con al suo interno della crema di latte con pezzi di cioccolato.
This special pastry has the famous Minni di Vergine, superlative! A must try!
Of course, other desserts are also good, but these minni is a typical Sambuchese dessert that this pastry produces in an excellent way! The cake was invented by nuns in 1725 and has the shape of a woman's breast with milk cream inside with pieces of chocolate.
