★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attention hot chocolate lovers on holiday in Genua. In this establishment hot chocolate is 100% cacao, really undrinkable and not recommended seeing the effect of pure cacao. The pastery is good, especially the cream and marmelade croissants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible service, they were really rude and unfriendly. The coffee is meh, and way too expensive. For the toilet you have to get through the kitchen, which is really unsanitary. The toilets were not clean. We had to pay 20 euros for a coffee and some pastries even though they gave us something different than we ordered. Will not visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice historic cafe ("caffe storico") in Genova, where I've been both for a coffee and a "brioche" (filled sweet croissant) in the morning, and an aperitivo (a Negroni of course) in the evening. Always at the counter ("al banco") of course.
