★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food quality is low, we ordered an aperitivo, cornetto and granita plus a juice. The granita was basically ground ice with almond milk. You could taste water. The cornetto was ok. Regarding the aperitivo, spritz was good but, food was meh. If you want to sit, just order some drinks and nothing more.

As soon as we entered kindly asking for a seat, we were disappointed by the behavior of the waitresses that in a rather brusque way told us to find a place by ourselves. We found independently a place to seat (despite the fact that the waiters were numerous and the people to serve not so many). We ordered and slowly our breakfast arrived (one thing at a time). Brioches of poor quality with pistachio cream completely tasteless except for the few grains put on top. Also bitter bill (3 euros just for a cappuccino). Quite good the tarts with cream and fruit. I will not return and I do not recommend anyone to go there for the low quality of food and for the rudeness of the staff.

All staff were really friendly and helpful, took us to the fresh baked counter so we could choose what we wanted without having to be able to read the options on menu not knowing what it was. Unfortunately limited on veggie/vegan options but they do have foccacia

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just arrived in Como. We are United Sates citizens. We are fully vaccinated and boosted with Pfizer. The man working in front refused us service because he claimed we did not have a green pass. We explained to him that Italy does not issue green passes for U.S. citizens but accepts the CDC card from the United States. We have used this card to obtain entrance into three different European countries and has also been accepted by every single restaurant and tourist attraction that we have been to since we arrived in Europe weeks ago. However, this man (slender with black/brown hair) vehemently denied us service essentially the moment we walked in even though the restaurant was filled with patrons. There appears to be tourists all over Como, but if you are not from Italy, it appears you are not allowed in this one restaurant. The result is we took our business elsewhere. The result should have been admitting us into the restaurant considering our vaccination status is most likely better than everyone in the restaurant. The result for the man behind the counter should be termination from his employment and an educational course on vaccination cards. Long story short, if you are a tourist, especially from the U.S., never go to this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had Caprese cake for Birthday, delicious, not too sweet, not too much sugar, fills very light even after 2 pieces, nuts are blended in nicely! We ate half of cake at once.
Tried some cookies which were fresh and well-made.
Definitely come back
