★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nell'ambito dell'itinerario "il giro della Roda di Vael" si transita per questo passo a circa 2561m di altezza. Da qui un percorso "divertente" composto da scalette in ferro, corrimano in filo di acciaio e passaggi in legno porta giu' fino alla funivia Paolina da dove é cominciato l'itinerario.

As part of the itinerary "la giro della Roda di Vael" you pass through this pass at about 2561m in height. From here a "fun" route made up of iron ladders, steel wire handrails and wooden steps leads down to the Paolina cable car from where the itinerary began.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il passo è facilmente raggiungibile dal rifugio Roda de Vael, si trova quindi in un'area diparticolare bellezza e interesse, nel pieno del gruppo del Catinaccio.
Costituisce punto di partenza della coppia di vie ferrate Roda de Vael e Masarè, anzi è proprio qui al passo che viene comodo attrezzarsi per le ferrate.
Entrambe le vie ferrate sono abbastanza semplici, ma si raccomanda massimo rispetto per la montagna, la roccia, se stessi e gli altri (compresi poi quelli che ci vengono ad aiutare in caso di problemi) quindi: sempre attrezzati correttamente e mai avventurarsi sulle ferrate senza la necessaria esperienza o la presenza di chi più esperto di noi ci può aiutare.
The pass is easily reachable from the Roda de Vael refuge and is therefore located in an area of particular beauty and interest, in the heart of the Catinaccio group.
It constitutes the starting point of the pair of via ferratas Roda de Vael and Masarè, indeed it is right here at the pass that it is convenient to gear up for the via ferratas.
Both via ferratas are quite simple, but we recommend maximum respect for the mountain, the rock, yourself and others (including those who come to help us in case of problems) therefore: always equipped correctly and never venture onto the via ferratas without the necessary experience or the presence of those who are more experienced than us can help us.
