★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tipica chiesa di un paese di provincia italiana, in una parrocchia che si sa essere costituita fin dal XVI Secolo. Luminosa e con un bel campanile che per fortuna viene usato (io abito ad un centinaio di metri e vi assicuro che le campane alla mezz'ora non mi danno fastidio, anzi). All'interno affreschi novecenteschi che personalmente non reputo di eccelsa qualità artistica. Essendo situata su una cima di collina del franoso Oltrepò Pavese ha subito nel corso degli anni lunghi lavori di consolidamento delle fondazioni. Rimarchevole l'organo che recentemente restaurato esibisce ora una bellissima 'voce'. Peccato la carenza di organisti (e di fondi) non permetta di usarlo più spesso e magari tenere qualche concerto che sono sicuro, anche grazie alla buona acustica dell'edificio sacro, avrebbe ottimo successo.
Typical church of an Italian provincial town, in a parish that has been known to be established since the 16th century. Bright and with a beautiful bell tower which fortunately is used (I live a hundred meters away and I assure you that the bells do not bother me at half an hour, on the contrary). Inside, twentieth-century frescoes that I personally do not consider to be of excellent artistic quality. Being located on a hill top of the landslide Oltrepò Pavese has undergone long consolidation works over the years. The organ that has recently been restored is now showing a beautiful 'voice'. Too bad the shortage of organists (and funds) does not allow to use it more often and maybe hold some concerts that I am sure, also thanks to the good acoustics of the sacred building, would have great success.
