m	michele fuschi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Negli anni di Università dal treno vedevo innalzarsi nel bel mezzo della campagna a nord del centro di Vigonza questa Chiesa dalla mole decisamente " fuori scala", rispetto al paesaggio rurale e agli altri Edifici Sacri del circondario. Persino il Duomo di Santa Margherita di Vigonza, Chiesa Plebana e Matrice, si faceva piccolo rispetto a quell'edificio assai imponente. L'anno scorso mi sono tolto la curiosità di vedere Pionca e in particolare la Sua Chiesa. L'unica cosa che posso dire e che i parrocchiani del tempo non hanno certo lesinato nulla a Nostro Signore per edificarGli una nuova Casa in mezzo alle loro case: hanno costruito un Duomo, ben più grande di quello vicino di Vigonza. Un neo-romanico modernizzato che sovrasta dominante il panorama di Pionca e dintorni per chilometri: del resto così conviene alla pur sobria ed essenziale Residenza di Gesù Cristo, Colui che è il Re dei Re. A Mons. Vescovo di Padova Claudio Cipolla domando che la Chiesa di Sant'Ambrogio Dottore di Pionca abbia il Titolo di Arcipretale e quello, insignissimo, di Duomo. Chiedo poi a Sua Eccellenza che i Parroci, Arcipreti, di Pionca, vengano decorati del Canonicato onorario della Basilica Cattedrale Patavina, essendo perciò Protonotari Apostolici " ad instar participantium", la massima dignità prelatizia cosiddetta " inferiore" (sopra ci sono solo il Papa, i Cardinali e i Presuli - Arcivescovi, Vescovi e Abati Regolari - non insigniti del Sacro Cardinalato Romano). During my university years from the train I saw this Church rise up in the middle of the countryside north of the center of Vigonza, with a decidedly "out of scale" size, compared to the rural landscape and the other Sacred Buildings in the district. Even the Cathedral of Santa Margherita di Vigonza, Plebana and Matrice Church, was smaller than that very imposing building. Last year I took my curiosity to see Pionca and in particular his Church. The only thing I can say is that the parishioners of the time certainly did not skimp on Our Lord to build a new house for him in the midst of their houses: they built a cathedral, much larger than the nearby one in Vigonza. A modernized neo-Romanesque that dominates the panorama of Pionca and its surroundings for kilometers: after all, this is the case for the sober and essential Residence of Jesus Christ, He who is the King of Kings. To Mons. Bishop of Padua Claudio Cipolla I ask that the Church of Sant'Ambrogio Doctor of Pionca has the title of Archpriest and that, most distinguished, of Duomo. N	Niccolò on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa carina. Le panchine sono discretamente comode e i cuscinetti anche, ma sono un pò rovinati. Sul soffitto ci sono mosaici di Cristo e degli evangelisti. L'altare è bello e l'organo anche. Nice church. The benches are fairly comfortable and the bearings too, but they are a little damaged. On the ceiling there are mosaics of Christ and the evangelists. The altar is beautiful and the organ too.

M	Massimiliano Giraldo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di S. Ambrogio a Pionca è una chiesa imponente, di recente costruzione (seconda metà del 1900), ma con caratteristiche classiche. Presenta una pianta a croce latina con un'unica navata. All'interno risulta un po' spoglia, senza troppe decorazioni, dipinti o altari laterali se non nelle due cappelle laterali, in corrispondenza anche degli ingressi posti sui fianchi. Nella sua semplicità risulta interessante. The church of S. Ambrogio in Pionca is an imposing church, recently built (second half of 1900), but with classical characteristics. It has a Latin cross plan with a single nave. Inside it is a bit bare, without too many decorations, paintings or side altars except in the two side chapels, also in correspondence with the entrances placed on the sides. In its simplicity it is interesting.

L'esterno è davvero caratteristico: la facciata del braccio laterale sinistro è quasi identica a quella della facciata principale (eccetto per il portone e il mosaico); nella facciata principale vi è un piccolo mosaico. L'interno è ad unica navata con pianta a croce latina; molto spoglia. A huge church located in the small center of Pionca. The exterior is truly characteristic: the facade of the left side arm is almost identical to that of the main facade (except for the door and the mosaic); in the main facade there is a small mosaic. The interior has a single nave with a Latin cross plan; very bare.
