Nonostante il nome ingannevole non è grande ma proporzionata al paese che a sua volta è chiamato città! Recently it has become a cathedral in the municipal square. Well kept worth a visit if you are in the area. Despite the misleading name it is not big but proportionate to the country which in turn is called city!
S	Stefano Masnaghetti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non tragga in inganno il bel pronao a sei colonne di ordine corinzio posto in facciata, realizzato su progetto dell'architetto Giuseppe Talucchi fra il 1836 ed il 1839, anni in cui venne trasformato in senso neoclassico anche l'interno: la Collegiata di Sant'Agata ha origini paleocristiane. La prima costruzione, del VI Secolo, fu realizzata per volere della Regina Teodolinda in onore della reliquia dell'omonima santa. Venne poi ricostruita nel 1150 circa in stile romanico, dopo la distruzione operata dal terremoto del 1117: a testimonianza di questo periodo rimane l'imponente torre campanaria in mattoni rossi e la cripta dedicata a Santo Stefano, santo a cui era intitolato il primissimo edifico, insediato su di un sacello pagano e consacrato dal vescovo Limenio nel IV Secolo. Do not deceive the beautiful Corinthian six-column pronaos on the façade, designed by the architect Giuseppe Talucchi between 1836 and 1839, years in which the interior was also transformed into a neoclassical sense: the Collegiate Church of Sant ' Agata has early Christian origins. The first building, from the 6th century, was built at the behest of Queen Teodolinda in honor of the relic of the homonymous saint. It was then rebuilt in about 1150 in Romanesque style, after the destruction wrought by the earthquake of 1117: as evidence of this period remains the imposing red brick bell tower and the crypt dedicated to Saint Stephen, the saint to whom the very first building was named, installed on a pagan chapel and consecrated by bishop Limenius in the 4th century.
