★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È assurdo che in una chiesa nella casa di Dio si aggirino dei ladri senza dignità...ho dimenticato un apparecchio audio costoso che utilizzo per lavoro e tornato l'indomani il parroco mi dice che non ha visto ne trovato nulla ...ringrazio chi gentilmente ha rubato dentro una chiesa e spero che venga fulminato...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nel 1432 un discepolo del Beato Matteo di Girgenti, proveniente da Caltanissetta dove esisteva già un convento della regola dell'Osservanza, insieme ad altri fraticelli venne in Adernò, che apparteneva allora a Guglielmo Raimondo Moncada cugino di Antonio I Moncada Conte di Caltanissetta. Quindi giunto, piantò con l'aiuto della Contessa Moncada, la sua croce di legno nel piano a sinistra della casa dei Cavalieri di Gerusalemme, in contrada San Giovanni. Egli vi pose la sua prima capelletta, costruendo attorno pagliai per i suoi fraticelli.
