Inoltre gli altoparlanti all'esterno servono a ben poco se si ostina ad urlare come se dovesse scacciare il dimònio da chissà quale eretico: se al microfono il tono di voce è troppo alto la cassa non regge. Nell'area antistante e tra la chiesa e la canonica, vi si trova un'area parcheggio, un campo da beach volley, un campo da calcetto in erba sintetica. In questo sito si svolgono una serie di attività parrocchiali (GrEst, Centro Estivo, ecc.) ed è il punto di ritrovo per chi frequenta i locali parrocchiali. La chiesa, completamente nuova e costruita dopo il disastroso terremoto del 20 e 29 maggio 2012, ha struttura in legno con tetto a vista. Della vecchia chiesa, ancora inagibile, si è recuperato il tabernacolo, il fonte battesimale e poche statue, tutto il resto o è andato distrutto o è stato portato al sicuro dai VV.FF. e custoditi nei magazzini della Sovrintendenza.
