★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hoch auf dem Murkegel vor dem Tscharser Sonnenberg erhebt sich die Pfarrkirche St.Martin wohl unmittelbar über den Fundamenten des romanischen Vorgängerbaus. Nur ein Wappen mit Löwenrelief, das an der Südwestecke der Kirche vermauert ist, und die in mehreren Schichten freigelegten Reste gotischer Fresken an der Westfassade deuten auf ältere Bauphasen hin.Die heutige Pfarrkirche wurde als spätgotische Saalkirche errichtet. Die Inschrift "Anno 1518" über dem großen Spitzbogenportal im Westen verweist auf das Jahr der Bauvollendung.Das Portal beseteht aus weißem Marmor.
High on the Murkegel in front of the Tscharser Sonnenberg, the parish church of St.Martin rises directly above the foundations of the Romanesque predecessor building. Only a coat of arms with a lion relief, which is walled up in the south-west corner of the church, and the remains of Gothic frescoes on the west facade, exposed in several layers, point to older building phases. The current parish church was built as a late Gothic hall church. The inscription "Anno 1518" above the large pointed arch portal in the west refers to the year the building was completed. The portal is made of white marble.
