★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di Bulliana ha una storia complessa cominciata nel 1400 quando venne costruito un primo tempio: non aveva pavimento, sacrestia e campanile e fu giocoforza abbatterlo e riedificarlo ex novo perché potesse ottenere la qualifica di parrocchiale il 17 giugno 1618.
Ma anche questa chiesa si dimostrò presto inadeguata ad una popolazione in continua crescita e nel 1692 ne fu consacrata un'ulteriore, nuova, che fu poi ancora ampliata nel 1858 con la costruzione della facciata attuale. Della chiesa del 1618 rimase il campanile.
L'interno è quindi ottocentesco con affreschi di Antonio Ciancia da Caprile.
The church of Bulliana has a complex history that began in 1400 when a first temple was built: it had no floor, sacristy and bell tower and it was necessary to demolish it and rebuild it ex novo so that it could obtain the status of parish on 17 June 1618.
But even this church soon proved to be inadequate for a population in continuous growth and in 1692 another, new one was consecrated, which was then enlarged in 1858 with the construction of the current facade. The bell tower remained of the church of 1618.
The interior is therefore nineteenth-century with frescoes by Antonio Ciancia da Caprile.
