★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir standen für ein paar stunden um uns pisa anzusehen. Ca 15 gehzeit bis zum turm. Öffentliche toilette ist gleich beim shop. Der parkplatz ist sehr groß und hat bestimmt immer platz für besucher.
We stood for a couple of hours to look at pisa. Approx. 15 walking time to the tower. Public toilet is right next to the shop. The parking lot is very large and there will definitely always be space for visitors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parcheggio gratuito comodo per arrivare alla piazza dei miracoli, comodi e abbandonati i parcheggi (da valutare in piena estate).
Sembra un posto abbastanza sicuro ma non custodito, e dicono che a volte le auto soprattuto quelle a noleggio, vengono “aperte” dai nomadi.
Se come noi avete il camper parcheggiate sui lati esterni in modo che il mezzo possa starci in tutta la sua lunghezza.
Una stella in meno perché non è provvisto di nessun servizio per i camper.
Free parking convenient to get to the square of miracles, convenient and abandoned parking lots (to be evaluated in summer).
It seems a fairly safe place but not guarded, and they say that sometimes the cars, especially the rental ones, are "opened" by the nomads.
If like us you have a camper, park on the outer sides so that the vehicle can stay there in all its length.
One star less because it is not equipped with any service for campers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WARNING - CAREFUL!!! PARK AT OWN RISK! Left the car for only 2 hours to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Came back to our car. Thiefs broke the small triangle window of the back passenger window of our car, unlocked the vehicle, and stole all of our bags/luggage/suitcases that were purposely hidden in the trunk (we made sure to hide everything from sight). All our stuff is gone. Apparently this is a common problem at this parking lot, but the city refuses to install cameras or have more police patrols for a well-known tourist area.
