★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a life saver if you’re driving to Amalfi from Sorrento as you can see it has spaces from the road as you inevitability crawl along in solid traffic into town. Just turn right at the roundabout and drive to the end of the road, take a token and park. If it is full, you will have wait on someone leaving.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My car and 20 others were destroyed in a ferocious storm Oct 29 2018 at this lot. It's dangerous when storms and high seas batter the waterfront. Never park here if you suspect bad weather will occur! Luckily I was fully insured - another guy I met the next day at the police department wasn't so lucky - a total personal loss!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amalfi has limited parking however if you need to stop off for a few hours this one has many spaces. It's located at the end of the harbour.
Some things you will need to know.
1. It charges by the hour. €3 per hour
2. You pay on return, you will get a little token as you enter the barrier. Don't loose it
3. The payment machine accepts coins and notes. Weirdly €50 notes are not accepted. Credit card not accepted either
4. Parking works in blocks of 1hr, 3hrs, 6hrs and so on. So if your over your hour you'll be paying for the next regardless.
5. To get to the lot you will have to squeeze between several parks mopeds and traffic both ways, don't try to get in their if your driving a Porsche, it's gonna get scratched.
6. If staying overnight or for a few days speak with your hotel, ours had a deal with a local garage, they collected the car and dropped it off for €20 per day. This meant the stress was gone on our two day stay.
