Attualmente i maggiori frequentatori sono proprietari di cani che lo utilizzano come un dog park. Mancano i cestini per la raccolta della differenziata e alberi in numero congruo. Unica nota positiva è l'affidamento della sua cura ad associazioni di volontariato.
Called the park, it is actually a small green area; it is not clear for whom, as a priority, it was designed and built. Currently the main visitors are dog owners who use it as a dog park. There are no baskets for the collection of differentiated waste and trees in an adequate number. The only positive note is the entrusting of his care to voluntary associations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Fondazione Div.ergo-ONLUS e l'Associazione di volontariato C.A.SA. di Lecce hanno ottenuto dal Comune di Lecce la gestione annuale del parco cittadino "Rina Durante" con delibera N° 72 del 25/03/2021. Le attività di cura dell’area verde e la sua gestione coinvolgeranno 20 giovani con disabilità intellettiva e un gruppo di 15 volontari dell'Associazione.
The Div.ergo-ONLUS Foundation and the voluntary association C.A.SA. of Lecce have obtained from the Municipality of Lecce the annual management of the city park "Rina Durante" with resolution N ° 72 of 25/03/2021. The green area care activities and its management will involve 20 young people with intellectual disabilities and a group of 15 volunteers from the Association.
