Un luogo piacevole dove andare a passare il pomeriggio nelle giornate di sole primaverili. Magari tagliassero l'erba più regolarmente. About two hundred meters of Aurelian walls equipped as a park. Apprezzo molto le Mura Aureliane di Roma, più come cittadino della Città Eterna che come guida turistica locale. Le Mura Aureliane, legate al nome dell'imperatore Aureliano che, dal 271 d.C. circa, avviò i lavori per quello che fu il progetto urbanistico più grande di Roma, rappresentano molto cose: baluardo difensivo, il confine tra una politica d'espansione ed una difensiva, un modo per controllare (nella Roma antica) i dazi ed il commercio dei beni. Nel corso degli anni e dei secoli altri imperatori o uomini politici romani (da Massenzio a Onorio) intervennero, modificando, restaurando o distruggendo porzioni di mura, e tale processo andò avanti quasi fino ai giorni nostri. Passeggiare lungo le Mura Aureliane significa davvero passeggiare lungo la storia di Roma. E sostare vicino ad esse dà idea della bellezza della Città Eterna. È sempre un piacere, per me, organizzare delle visite guidate qui, alla scoperta dell'evoluzione militare, culturale ed economica di Roma. Il verde è curato ed è possibile trovare comode panchine, ombra e i caratteristici "nasoni" che erogano acqua! É un piccolo parco a servizio del quartiere, ma offre tante possibilità di essere vissuto! Nice place to go for a quiet jog, walk or exercise using the public facilities. Ottimo per fare una passeggiata. La sera è mozzafiato soprattutto dopo la nuova illuminazione impiantata dal comune di roma Very beautifull.
