★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parco veramente suggestivo! Sia il percorso scoperto che permette di vedere l'attività della cava ancora in parte attiva oltre che le essenze della "sciara" che circonda l'area; sia quello coperto durante il quale si apprezza il vecchio metodo di lavoro sotterraneo.
Complimenti ai proprietari per l' immane lavoro fatto e i meravigliosi progetti per il futuro.
Merita proprio una visita, si può anche pernottare nella casa nella grotta.
 Truly impressive park! Both the uncovered path that allows you to see the activity of the quarry still partially active as well as the essences of the "sciara" that surrounds the area; both the covered one during which the old underground working method is appreciated.
Congratulations to the owners for the immense work done and the wonderful plans for the future.
It is really worth a visit, you can also stay overnight in the cave house.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Suggestivo , insolito , ricco di storia, merita una visita. I proprietari, gentilissimi, guidano in un percorso che dura all'incirca un'ora e trenta. Lo stesso si snoda tra le cave a cielo aperto e quelle in ipogeo, a pileri, tra piante endemiche , erbe aromatiche e uccelli che ne hanno fatto la loro casa. Annamaria e Leonardo mostrano tutta la passione per questo sito,con delle potenzialità enormi, sottratto così, grazie alla loro iniziativa privata , alla possibile incuria e devastazione. Sono stati due visionari concreti , adesso avrebbero tanto bisogno di sostegno,di un aiuto fattivo perché il rischio che il frutto dei loro sacrifici vada perduto è elevato.Imperdibile.
Suggestive, unusual, rich in history, it is worth a visit. The owners, very kind, drive in a path that lasts about an hour and a half. The same unfolds between the open-air quarries and those in the hypogeum, in pileri, among endemic plants, aromatic herbs and birds that have made it their home. Annamaria and Leonardo show all their passion for this site, with enormous potential, thus removed, thanks to their private initiative, from possible neglect and devastation. They were two concrete visionaries, now they would need so much support, effective help because the risk that the fruit of their sacrifices will be lost is high.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trattasi di un ex-cava di tufo, il Parco delle Cave e' un luogo veramente unico nel suo genere, una vera oasi nel (quasi) deserto!
I proprietari, Leonardo e Anna Maria, oltre ad essersi dimostrati molto gentili e disponibili, sono state delle ottime guide che ci hanno saputo fare emozionare durante la visita guidata.
La visita guidata costa 10e a persona e dura circa 1-2 ore. Comprende anche una visita speleologica all'interno di una delle cave interrate, assolutamente da non perdere.
Se siete in zona, non fatevi sfuggire queste esperienza unica!
PS. C'e' anche la possibilita' di soggiornare all'interno della cava, cercate 'Casa nella Grotta' su Booking!
Being an ex-tuff quarry, the Parco delle Cave is a truly unique place of its kind, a true oasis in the (almost) desert!
The owners, Leonardo and Anna Maria, in addition to being very kind and helpful, were excellent guides who were able to excite us during the guided tour.
The guided tour costs 10e per person and takes about 1-2 hours. It also includes a speleological visit inside one of the underground quarries, absolutely not to be missed.
If you are in the area, don't miss this unique experience!
PS. There is also the possibility of staying inside the quarry, search for 'Casa nella Grotta' on Booking!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place to visit! An old quarry that can be visited, tours given by a couple living in the open pit mine. Unfortunately they only speak Italian but they did a great effort (google translate) showing us around (even when we crashed a family party on a public holiday). There is a phone number on the fence near the road to call, don’t drive down (like we did) without reservation. You do need a car that’s a bit higher from the ground.
