★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well laid out, excellent exhibitions of its history and wildlife for adults and children, great walks with first class sign posting, friendly staff, lots of wild flowers (June), bears in enclosure all in high and scenic setting. Lovely places to stop for a drink or a meal. Well worth the drive to get there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful park! Very cheap tickets (2€ only) I would pay way more if the funds went to the animals and park. It makes me sad to see the animals in small enclosures when they should be free in the nature, however it’s for their protection. I do think the bear enclosure is way too small.... it would be good if it could be enlarged.
