★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il parco del Lura attraversa da Nord a Sud l'alta pianura lombarda, fra Bassa Comasca, Saronnese e Nord Milano. Il parco inizia quasi sempre sul limite esterno dei centri abitati attraversati dal torrente garantendo la tutela ambientale delle aree non urbanizzate. La Valle del Lura, pur non essendo contraddistinta da particolari biotopi, conserva un habitat di discreta qualità complessiva con un paesaggio agro-naturale abbastanza conservato. Il parco comprende un ambiente caratteristico dei pianalti lombardi. I boschi sono formati principalmente da farnie e robinie. Circa metà del parco è coltivata a cereali o coperta da prati.
Il parco del Lura è un lungo nastro verde che scende dal confine svizzero fino alle porte di Milano. La valle inizialmente si presenta ampia e profondamente incisa nella pianura, poi corre sempre più esile fra case, fabbriche e campi seminati. Il consorzio ha lavorato per consentire la percezione del paesaggio vallivo e per una equilibrata fruizione.
The Lura park crosses the upper Lombard plain from north to south, between Bassa Comasca, Saronnese and Northern Milan. The park almost always begins on the outer limit of the inhabited centers crossed by the stream, guaranteeing the environmental protection of non-urbanized areas. The Valle del Lura, although not characterized by particular biotopes, preserves a habitat of good overall quality with a fairly preserved agro-natural landscape. The park includes a characteristic environment of the Lombard plains. The woods are mainly made up of English oaks and locust trees. About half of the park is planted with cereals or covered with meadows.
The Lura park is a long green ribbon that runs from the Swiss border to the gates of Milan. Initially the valley is wide and deeply engraved in the plain, then it runs more and more slenderly between houses, factories and sown fields. The consortium worked to allow the perception of the valley landscape and for a balanced fruition.

Negli anni è migliorato tanto, come percorso e accessibilità.
Si può andare per camminare, portare a spasso il cane, andare a cavallo, in bici e fare i percorsi vita con gli attrezzi (in alcuni punti dei vari percorsi).
Ogni tanto ci sono delle panchine per potersi fermare.
Da segnalare anche la presenza di alcune fontanelle dell'acqua per poter bere e nel caso dare da bere anche ai propri animali.
Non a tutti gli ingressi del parco c'è nelle vicinanze un posteggio dove poter lasciare la macchina (per chi viene da lontano).
A good place to go for a walk in both summer and winter.
Over the years it has improved a lot, in terms of path and accessibility.
You can go for walking, walking the dog, horseback riding, biking and do the life paths with tools (in some points of the various paths).
Occasionally there are benches to be able to stop.
Also noteworthy is the presence of some water fountains to be able to drink and in case also give to drink to their animals.
Not at all park entrances is there a car park nearby where you can leave your car (for those coming from far away).
