The best maintained and most beautiful park in Palermo, range of exotic birds, turtles, deer, emues all set in a spectacular garden of jungle palms, banana trees and vines. And the best thing is it's free ?? skip the expensive, old, badly maintained Botanical gardens and go here instead.

These poor Grand Pelicans are trapped in a tiny cage. They are showing extreme signs of stress, fighting, and biting each other. They should be released into the free, and not have to suffer in this tiny cage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice park with many animals to see (deer, parrots, flamingos, pelicans, owls, turtles, tortoises, fish, falcons, parakeets, emu etc). The cages unfortunately are rather small but it does provide an hour of entertainment for kids.

One of the most well maintained areas in Palermo. Recently re-opened after being renovated. Beautiful walkways with lots of plants, ponds with carp and tortoises, plenty of birds to see including parrots, flamingos, birds of prey, emus and peacocks.
They even have some deer.
Clean bathrooms.
Better than the botanical garden - And it's all for free!
