★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Run by criminals. Avoid at all costs. Advertised "51 spaces" but there were none, just dozens of cars circling. Couldn't find a park so decided to leave, only to be told we had to pay regardless! Explained the situation to the unhelpful troll over the intecom, her answer: "you pay or I call police". Horrible start to a visit to Lucca. Park outside the walls.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This parking is conveniently located within the city walls of Lucca. On street market days it is however quite difficult to get there, because the main access road is closed to traffic and there is no sign indicating the involved alternative route (which indeed exists).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Convenient, cheap parking, just inside the city wall. Pay for your parking when you want to leave, but before you get back in your car (you cannot pay at the barrier). The only payment machine we could find was at the bottom of the entrance ramp.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good and clean parking, for 2.50 euro per hour and I find safer than parking on the street but its your choice. It's a Underground parking. Around 10 mins walking to the Guinigi tower.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to park, right inside the city wall. Covered, underground parking, and not expensive at all. Extremely convenient, if you are visiting city center and then walking on the wall back (that's what we did anyway). Recommend parking here when you are visiting beautiful Lucca.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A parking lot at the perimeter of the fortified Lucca. It is not necessarily the closest parking lot to the city center, but close enough. If you are staying at the center of this fortified city, you may have to walk 10-15 minutes. The city is beautiful and ancient, so it would be a nice little walk. Nothing complicated about this parking space!
